White Sheen….
This is in continuation to my previous post…….”And it was all….Yellow”
I did see white sheen…….and was so glad…… hence I thought it would be inappropriate to forget the contributions made by the media……and so here comes a thankyou note.
Ruchika Gehrotra, the ill fated budding tennis enthusiast who fell prey to the pervert bureaucrat and the red tapism struck justice lords, killed herself 19yrs back. As a result of the tireless efforts by her family and best fren, the nation saw a ray of hope for her. Sadly….The retribution for this morbid DGP was like a cane being hit on the calf muscle in school and then scot free. It would be a disgrace if this man walks freely.
The reason why I thank the media here is that now since the whole issue is in the news and the papers, it sure will demand a serious punishment for this guy. As a result of all the hype, the issue will not go un noticed. And justice shall overcome.In cases like Jessica Lal and Aarushi ,the intervention of the media played a major role in making the police work diligently and with integrity.
Its only wen such gruesome acts of insane perverts come on television do they create a major stir. People like us watch such news and post our views on various blogs, social networking sites and maybe the government officials. Infact anyone and everyone who has access to the internet send out a message to such media houses showing support and solidarity. Every single girl in India, goes through some kind of molestation in her entire lifetime. And (no offences meant…) the ones above 45yrs of age…..are the ones we fear the most. Not every girl is brave enough to retort or fight back. The consequences of acts of such bravery is an acid thrown on them or public humiliation. Where can we go? Atleast you can write and create awareness….
Not only this….another shocking incident……which is very different from the previously quoted is of a reality TV program.
Pravesh Rana , our so called “Comman Man” Mr. India, diluted a good amount of food in the swimming pool due to personal rivalry! If possible for all of you, do check out last Saturdays Times of India, Crest edition (available only in metro cities), which says that India has the maximum number of deaths due to malnutrition and Hunger. And he is Mr. India…..God Damn it…. a Mr. India……. with No values, no morals, no sentiments, threw it all over the place. Again Thanks to the media, he will be aptly punished.. I sure hope so….else one day I will smash his face with my oldest and filthiest slipper(which I will save for HIM…..from this day onwards..) and throw it at him someday……I sure will……. He ridiculed the very meaning of the word”Common Man”
So like I said…….rather I found out, that the media is not all yellow…..at least the print media……
Keep writing to them so that they know how we feel.
As for the pervert DGP and horrific ones like him…….should be thrown to the Lions (US i.e. the common public) and should be shown LIVE to set an example. A message should be sent out….. so that next time, they think a zillion times before touching a woman.
Hanging them is like giving them easy death…….torture should be the right treatment for such criminals……. They should not be given any rights, they must just be slaughtered….!!
I pray for the soul of Ruchika and Aarushi…they could not live the best years of their lives……wherever they are……may they be peace and Bless us all.
